In the city

The city of Verona is one of the most fascinating tourist destinations in our peninsula, thanks to the undeniable charm of its rich history.

The center of Verona, a UNESCO heritage city, is home to numerous historical and artistic works that are worth a visit. The Arena and the Piazza Bra that houses it, the Roman Theater, the Basilica of San Zeno, Juliet's Balcony, Porta Borsari, Porta Leoni, Piazza delle Erbe, the Cathedral, Castelvecchio, and Piazza dei Signori (better known as Piazza Dante) are just the most famous attractions. It is a city of special charm: even wandering aimlessly through its cobbled streets and alleys, discovering the "Well of Love," glimpsing bas-reliefs or fossils on the facades of houses, will leave you with an indelible memory.

Shopaholics will not be disappointed either: the pedestrian streets of the center offer many stores of luxury brands as well as local handicrafts.

Then an aperitif in Piazza delle Erbe or Piazza Bra, savoring the atmosphere of the city of love, is a must. Also always advisable is dinner in one of the old and historic Osterie in the center, which offer the famous wine of the province and traditional foods.

Food and wine routes in Valpolicella

Valpolicella, one of Italy's most important wine-growing areas, is an area full of surprising cultural, naturalistic and food and wine attractions, just a half-hour drive from the city and Lake Garda. Valpolicella and its scenic hills are dotted with wineries that offer the possibility of wine tastings (such as Valpolicella Classico or Superiore, Amarone, Recioto, ...) paired with extra virgin olive oil from our lake, local cheeses and cold cuts: all surrounded by vineyards. A place where you will be able to find the unique flavor of tradition, the result of the encounter between food and wine excellence and nature, which will awaken all the senses.

Those looking for new thrills to experience together will be able to get caught up in the magic of the attractions at Gardaland: Italy's largest and best-known amusement park. The attractions are divided into Fantasy, for the little ones, Adventure, for thrills to be experienced at all ages, and Adrenaline, for those who want to savor the thrill to the fullest. Inside Gardaland you can also find the Sea Life park, an aquarium that houses more than 5,000 creatures of 100 different species in 40 tanks. Going through the transparent ocean tunnel will be like diving among sharks, stingrays and tropical fish!

Those looking for a chance to relax in nature for a day in contact with animals will find Parco Natura Viva Zoo Safari interesting. Not far from the shores of Lake Garda, in Pastrengo, this Park is home to some specimens of endangered species, which are then released back into the wild. It consists of a safari park, which can be visited in a jeep, and a wildlife park, which can be walked through in a couple of hours.

Near Lazise, also in the Lake Garda area, there is also the Caneva AquaPark water park with its numerous slides, many pools and space epr to relax. In the same context you will also find Movieland: The Hollywood Park to make you the protagonist of your favorite movies, entering the set alongside actors and stuntmen, driving along Route 66, or walking the jungle trails, discovering dinosaurs.

Spa establishments

The province of Verona is rich in thermal waters and establishments where they can be enjoyed. The oldest establishment is located in Caldiero, the Terme di Giunone, where the "water of beauty" gushes forth as it was already known in Roman times. Here you can find baths dating back to medieval times. About 15 km from the center, in Pescantina, Valpolicella, is Aquardens Terme, a modern establishment where you can find several pools, a wellness center, and large relaxation areas. The Parco Termale del Garda Villa dei Cedri, in Colà di Lazise, is a natural spa surrounded by greenery, among ancient trees and rare plants.
